Maraging C250

Maraging C250 – A maraging steel containing Max 7.5% cobalt and 4.8% molybdenum. Maraging steel 250 is a tough, relatively soft and therefore readily machined and formed special alloy. In the annealed condition, Maraging 250 steel is relatively soft and easy to machine. However after heat treating and via precipitation hardening the hardness increases greatly which makes this steel sufficient for tooling applications.
