Metal Part
Metal parts refer to the collective name of metal blocks, metal rods, metal tubes, etc. of various specifications and shapes made of metal materials.
Materials of metal parts: steel and non-ferrous metals (or non-ferrous metals). Iron and steel: The alloy of iron with a carbon content of 2% to 4.3% is cast iron, and the alloy of iron with a carbon content of generally 0.03% to 2% is steel. In the Fe-C alloy, a variety of appropriate alloying elements are purposely added to improve the strength, hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of steel. Commonly used alloying elements are Si, Mn, Cr, Ni, Mo, W, V, Ti, Nb, B, etc., forming various alloy cast iron or alloy steel.
Treatment process
Anti-corrosion and anti-rust treatment: boiled black, boiled blue treatment is also called phosphating treatment, which makes metal parts have corrosion resistance and anti-rust performance.
Hardening treatment: the treatment method to increase the hardness of metal parts:
(1) Surface carburizing is used to increase the surface hardness of metal parts, and the surface color will be black after carburizing;
(2) Quenching treatment can increase hardness;
(3) Vacuum heat treatment improves the overall hardness.
Processing technology
Machining, stamping, precision casting, powder metallurgy, metal injection molding, laser processing, EDM, ultrasonic processing, electrolytic processing, particle beam processing and ultra-high speed processing, etc. Similar to turning, milling, forging, casting, and grinding, CNC machining and CNC numerical control centers are all conventional machining.
